Once your Leaf Doctor prescribes your product if eligible, we will send your script to our partner pharmacy who will dispense your product. You can then choose to have it delivered or if you live in Sydney pick it up from our Newtown partner pharmacy.

Do not drive or operate heavy machinery while taking products containing THC. In Australia, it is illegal to drive if THC is detected in your system, even if not impaired. THC can remain in your body for days to weeks.

Medical cannabis products in Australia have not been assessed by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) for general use. They are supplied under special access pathways as there is limited evidence for their safety and effectiveness.

Yes. In NSW, alternative medicines are legal when prescribed by an authorised prescriber. Keep your prescription or approval documentation with you when carrying your medication.

If you’d like to increase or decrease your prescription amount, you’ll need to book a follow-up consultation with one of our doctors. They’ll be able to review your current prescriptions and discuss any changes that may be suitable for you.

We understand that your treatment needs may change over time. If you’d like to pause or stop your treatment with Leaf Doctors, you’re welcome to do so at any time. Simply reach out to our friendly Patient Care Team on 1300 159 140, and they’ll be happy to assist with placing your account on pause or arranging a discharge letter if you decide to cease treatment.

Your prescription is valid for 6 months from the date it was written. You’ll need to schedule a follow-up consultation to renew your prescription. Contact your prescribing doctor or book through our website.

To protect your privacy and meet medical confidentiality standards, your clinician’s call may appear on your phone as a Private Number or Unknown Number.
Please keep your phone nearby and watch for the call during your scheduled appointment window so we can reach you.

If you wish to transfer your treatment or request the release of your prescription to another clinic or pharmacy, please speak with our Patient Care Team. Requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, and we may request payment of $99 to cover the administration costs associated with transferring your treatment.
Please note that Leaf Doctors reserves the right to decline transfer or prescription release requests where the treating doctor or clinic determines your case is clinically complex or requires closer monitoring to ensure safe, appropriate, and compliant prescribing and dispensing.
